Thanks, injectors fitted and l did use a dollop of grease.

Just an update, I removed the injectors with two Allen keys. I started with a 4mm and worked it loose with a 6mm. I’m really pleased l did it this way as you get a feel of the injector and it’s not as violent as using a slide hammer or an adapted pipe wrench and hammer.

Hi, does anyone have a Td5 injector slide hammer that l can borrow or hire in the North East. I need to change my injector seals and l cannot justify spending a fortune on a tool that l will hopefully only use once? Alternatively does anyone have one that they will sell me at an reasonable price?

Just an update, managed to get the fuel pump out, it was completely silted up and the pump is seized. I did try to clean it up but cannot get the pump to turn, so it’s a new pump. Now looking on eBay the price varies from £80 to several hundreds. Can anyone recommend a decent pump that’s not too...

Hi, due to an advisory l’m looking to replace the brake pipes on my 2004 Defender. On eBay you can buy ready made brake pipes which l’m intending use. However looking at the ads there are two options, vehicles with a pressure reduction valve, and without. Did the 90 Td5 have this valve?

Yes, the vehicle is on axle stands. Ifl go underneath and manually turn the rear propshaft the front one turns.
