Would it be possible to fit the pick up cab (roof and back panel) from a 90 onto a series 3 body?:confused: In the past I,ve slapped 90 doors on a SWB series but wonder if the roof etc will swap?

I remember vaguely of a curtain type arrangement you could put at the rear of seats in the old 109s to reduce the cabin space and so retain lots of toastie heat:D Can you still get them?

As it happens as of 6.30pm tonight I am the proud owner of a 1982 109. Pick her up next Sunday:D

I borrowed a mates E class 3 litre merc for a trip up north and insured it daily through ecar insurance. Worked out at around £10 a day
