    Britparts that have lasted

Happy to buy ****part for stuff like panel/trim clips, light plugs, front grille plastics, generally inanimate parts etc. The only moving parts I've so far fitted are a pair of HD steering arms including track rod ends. 3 months so far and no issues. The next parts to go on will be a set of...

    Project 90 - Bustrucket's Bodged Banger

A few small bits: Ideally I wanted the front badge to be black and silver, but I'm not that fussed. Headlining and sun visors are a big improvement!

    How much fuel....

I chucked 48 litres of diesel in my 1990 90 a few days ago, as it hadn't run out or started spluttering I guess it still had a bit left. Next time I fill it (usually do around 30-40 miles "in the red") I'll stick some sort of dipstick in there and see how deep it goes.

    What to paint chequerplate with?

Looking at them before they came off I doubt they were etch primered when new, hence why all the paint is peeling. Will get some etch primer to start with then. Halfords truck bed paint sounds like what I need, will swing by there tomorrow. Cheers!

Doing the impossble? Cummins 6BT into a 90!

Cracking project, our Optare buses with 177bhp ISB's shift well so a 200bhp B series in something that weighs a quarter of what they weigh should be mental :smokin:

    What to paint chequerplate with?

I'm finishing off the refitting of bits to the 90 this weekend, but I'm not sure what to do with the chequerplate. The paint on all the bits is starting to peel which'll look ****e with me noo paint job on the 90. I do use the chequerplate on the bonnet and wing tops to stand on so I'm after a...

    Pair of Qt diff guards

The problem with couriering them is that I can't wait in for a courier - the local Yodel depot won't accept parcels dropped into them, they have to be collected by van, which is stupid. Don't think they'll fit a D2.

    Project 90 - Bustrucket's Bodged Banger

Unfortunately everything I tried with it didn't work. It fits with my stock steering bar but the HD steering bar interferes with it.

    Project 90 - Bustrucket's Bodged Banger

Between three of us it took about 11-12 hours to prep the car. There's no filler gone in, all the dents that were there before are still there. Don't know how much the materials were (job done at mates rates). The paint was applied wet on wet so it actually took a lot less time to get the paint...

How to tell which axles I have?

I need to replace the CV joints on my 90, but apparently there are two types - 23-spline and 33-spline. Is there any way of finding out which ones mine should have without stripping out an old one? It's a 1990 90 that originally had a 2.5TD fitted, as far as I know the axles are the originals...

    Project 90 - Bustrucket's Bodged Banger

Today, I installed the worlds pikeyest stereo: I'm taking the 90 on an 800 mile trip on Tuesday, and I couldn't face it without some music to drive to. I really want a raptor dash console to mount my CD/USB/etc head unit but I can't afford one and i dont want to waste cash on a cheapo stereo...
