    Tailgate Door Handle replacement

Loved the video, showed the procedure, my favourite bit was when he tested the window inching several times, before he slammed the end of the window seal in the door, not once, not twice, LOL

    Tailgate

If I can throw my thoughts in. When you push up the open lever and release it, can you hear the actuator being pulled down, and sliding back up again? Because it will not let you close the window, it thinks the door is open, so all seems to be doing its job, and seems to me like the micro...

Freelancer 1 td4 bumper light set problem.

My guess is the cluster PCB got cracked on the earth track, use a multimeter to test resistance between the cluster connector earth pin and any bulb socket earth point, my guess is you will get nothing (well ok something, you know what I mean)

You do not want to go messing up your grille mesh, it is a bumper off job, but it is your grille mesh, you have a PM

    Tailgate Door Handle replacement

Super Glue and Araldite works as posted, Google Plastex, bit pricey but lasts ages, I use it for all plastic broken bits. The posts do go brittle, so plenty of Araldite to reinforce the posts. I have seen them for £120+, yeh right, when I get my 3rd set of teeth. Few used on eBay £40 - £50, but...

    Freelander 1 HFS

This morning I discovered HFS not working as it is supposed to, from what I have read about O/S and N/S or both not working, but nothing about 3" vertical bars defrosting O/S and N/S of centre, I would guess the power to both sides of the screen is ok otherwise would it not be all or nothing...

    Hi everyone

Welcome, for starters, the engine uses a BMW 320d lump transversed, apart from certain mods, there is a mine of info already here. Perhaps if you posted a brief list of parts it has had, and the work done, perhaps it may help folk let you know what to look out for.

    Fuel tank cradle

A pro active job I keep forgetting to do to SWMBO's Freelander, last time I looked it seemed pretty rusty but solid enough, want to pop it off and restore it, but if I can get one like Colonial pointed out for £80, its not worth the time and money tarting up the rusty one. Just had a butchers...

    Howdy.

Never owned a Land Rover, like 'em though. The Mrs (Landy Rose) has a Freelander, have got to know it quite well since she bought it a few moths ago, nothing mechanical, just cosmetic, manual and electronic mods. I have the back door apart, devising a manual lock release using a Go Pro safety...
