it always feels good to save yourself a few quid by not taking it to the garage. im not looking forward to changing the rear diff tho i can hardly lift them stood up let alone laid on my back trying to lift it in to place!!!

it was the starter motor, i managed to get it off and get the new one on took me about 2 half hours might sound a long time but to say id never done one before and im a girl i dont think thats bad going :D feeling quite proud of myslef right now lol

thats why its off to the garage to have all the oils changed, didnt drive for long underwater before it died. did the diff oils myself but i cant get the sump plug off and wouldnt know where to begin with gearbox and transfer box, im only a girl lol and im still learning

tried that to but not much room to get a good swing at it. it will tow start tho yeah? maybe i can get it started that way and get it to the garage

think you might be right just tried bridging gap with a spanner on starter to try start it tat way and its just clicking, gave it a good smack and it still didnt work
