one week to get this done!!

One holiday or spending time with your dad in a unique car that he rebuilt and you'll have fun in for years and memories for life. No brainer for any kid when they look back. Although I reckon I could sue my old man for those school runs in the boot box of a Lotus 7 :)

Hi mate. Looking very good. Could you tell me the width between the seats where the cubby would be. Also, are the sides of the seats capable of taking the RRC arms?

one week to get this done!!

Something I remembered the other day: with the BMW seats what is the plan for armrests? I can't see RRC arms fitting to the seats or maybe any arms due to the angle of the sides. The standard RRC cubby is too low and narrow to work as a rest so a larger box would be needed? If you can't do...

It can't have been in Scotland all its life. Nothing lives over 40 up there. :)

Cheers chaps. What about gearing? I'm assuming that with this amount of torque so low down that you could cruise at motorway speeds about 1000rpm lower than the norm? One area I've looked at is the different cogs you can put into the LT230.

The LT95 is tougher than most give credit for but surely you are going to be feeding it quite large doses of torque?

This is sadly true. Orange car not even finished yet but that's another story. :)

Nowhere. :D That's the problem. Not seen the car for a year. I have been able to pretty much spec out and finalise the whole scedule of works and as usual I'm hoping to start work before Christmas.

Seats look really good Simon. It's a concept I've been planning for mine but to see it actually done has sealed it for me. Hope all is well. Has Fett finished his garage yet?

Who's got the best Range Rover Classic...and why?

Well all servicing will be by Graham so it'll be in your neck of te woods at various points.

Who's got the best Range Rover Classic...and why?

Slowly. Pretty much have all the exterior original parts now and all the metalwork like door frames, quarter lights, grill, lamp surrounds and rear plate holder have been refurbed to better than new and powder coated black. The wheels and bumpers have been refurbed and powder coated in grey. I...

Who's got the best Range Rover Classic...and why?

Cheers Mike for the nomination. It was a rather good wagon and essentially as new. The 3 door will be even better when finally complete. :D

Morning, I was trying to find the letters on the John Craddock site but had no joy. I think I also missed your earlier PM about the waste seals, these are the rubber and metal trim on the top of the doors below the window glass. The front valence is proving difficult as well, although Fett...

    70s/80s seats

Thanks for the snippet. The reason is that I have a set of early 80's seats in my 1972 2 door but I also have access to what are basically a set of CSK front seats, so the more modern Rangie design. I was very aware that the original design was to prevent the obstruction of a traditional...

    70s/80s seats

Seeing as these seats have the seat belt integrated into the seat itself, how safe are they in the event of a crash? The leverage that would be applied down the back of the seat in such an event would put enormous strain on not just the fixings of the seat base to the car but also the pivot...

Hello. Just signed up to your website. Looks very good. I would be very grateful if you have any ideas where I may be able to source the following: Front and rear original letter sets. Door waste seals. Pair of Wingard bonnet mirrors. Thanks, Tim.
