    Its running at the moment as ive stuffed it with halfrauds weld all stuff. Just fill with water every morning. Was going to fix block with JB WELD but theres a lot of pressure stored in the expansion tank every morning when cold so im thinking the head has gone as well so not worth the bother...

    Im just a bit concerned that the electricory wont play but as long as i use all my old bits and dont touch the fuel pump and upset sumat it should be ok:)

    High folks, probably one for wammers. As you all know my block is cracked and am just wondering will another engine just plug in and work or do i need to reset things. If its a load of faffin its up for grabs soon.;)

    Any old haynes tc manual will do. There is a pre set point that needs setting first before you start tweeking. All linkages must be a good fit and all internals in good fettle. Lots of info on the tube and goog. Have fun ;)

    As long as the rad is ok just change the stat and pump for what it costs. While the pump and stat are out get a hose pipe down there and flush it all out. If theres still a prob then you ave a real prob. Head might be next.
