Rubbing down a bit of rust I ended with bigger problem:D. Below the rubber protector strip is rotten too, so how do I get this protector off? Is it riveted on? Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the feedback. Fiddled about with sensors on both front hubs and light went out as it should. Didn't really feel as if they moved much though? However, the no movement of the brake pedal reared its ugly head. Interestingly, when I feathered the pedal it would then brake as normal but...

Not sure what you mean?? Will look into the blink testing.

I'd looked through your post a few weeks ago mate:). What kinda stumped me was the pedal going really hard and the grating feel and what's actually happening at that time.

Thanks for the replies:). I'm guessing that the mechanics would have had to reseat the connectors when putting everything together so, dodgy wiring sounds about right. Next time it's dry & I'm having a good day I'll have a poke around. Is it a wheel off job? :)

Have the 'ABS light won't go out problem'. Also have the problem that the light will go out but, that then causes a BIG scare; Now, the light is normally always on & brakes work well but, occasionally it goes out. When this happens there appears to be no pedal movement & there's a terrible...

Try introducing yourself mate. Will go a long way here;). Apart from that, I don't know. Mine used to do this when I slowed to a stop but I'm guessing it cured itself.
