I've taken out what is supposed to be a pump but doesn't look like a pump ,its just the float and pipes for fuel in and out .

Hi I've noticed that the glow plugs are leaking from the threads,small bubbles ,what effect does this have on starting or driving ?

All the leak back pipes have all been changed now ,hopefully it'll be sorted with the belts ,I've spent that much money on it I'm loathed to get rid of it transfer box,propshaft,diff ,clutch,starter motor kit ,window regulator and motor,brakes,steering components and only had it 4 years and...

And it hasn't sorted the problem nodge,I can't find any leaks , I did have a return pipe go last week ,changed it , bled it but still had the problem of starting in the morning .ive booked it in now for a cam belt kit change as its overdue according to the history .if I can't get to the root of...

It started with the help of easy start ,but think the fuel is returning back ,what would cause this

Battery fully charged now and all it does is turn over ,no fumes from the exhaust while turning over ,I have to admit defeat and I've called the breakdown out .

I replaced the front one ,the back of the alternator.

Thanks for that bud ,the sensor I changed was a blue one to the left side of the engine under the engine cover ,would that be the right one?

I haven't mike ,but this morning it won't start ,checked fuel and it seems that air is getting to the filter ,after bleeding and priming it goes back to getting air in the filter

I tested all glow plugs for power and power is going to all glowplugs

Thanks guys ,I'll check the belts ,but to be honest they could do with changing anyway so will do this regardless,I'll let you know how I get on .

Ok ,I haven't had the belts done recently,so how would it slip a few degrees

This morning,tried the turn glow plugs on 3 times so they're glowing,still no good ,primed ,the prime bulb was hard but tried that and starting was worse .what's my next thing to try ,oh and white smoke was coming out of exhaust on trying to start

No belts changed ,I'll try the primer bulb and turning the glow plugs twice tomorrow.could it be injector seals

Fuel is definitely coming through ,the dashlight comes on.it starts on the second go and after that it will start no problem,its just overnight when its cold

hi guys ,the slider pin in the carrier is solid ,I've tried drilling it out but all it does is burn the drill bits out , so , looks like getting another, will the 1.8 petrol be the same carrier ?
