Thinking of fitting a snorkel to the 300 tdi but not sure which one to go for they are both around the same sort of money £80 for safari(ish) and £130 for the southdown.
so was wondering is there any pro's cons to either and which one performed the best.
Thanks
It has got towbar electrics on so I might disconnect them and see if that m,akes a difference.
It's just strange that everything else works bar the fog lights??
I may have to admit defeat and call a proffesional auto electrician
Why do you want to lift it?
Fitting heavy duty lift springs means it doesn't wallow as much as people think.
You can just about do 2" without having to worry about brake lines and +2" shocks if your not going off road too extreme.
That's if you just want the look?
OK swapped the fuse board and mfu and now everything that wasn't working.
Interior lights,
Rear wiper,
Rear wash,
Heated rear screen,
Intermittent wipers.
All work perfectly everything but the bloody fog lights?????
Just a random thought what if any harm would it do to use one shot grease in the diff?
Its better in the swivels than EP90 so what would be the harm in a diff?
Put them back in yesterday while I was fitting the diff guards.
The difference they make is quite noticeable, both inside and outside of the car.
A lot quieter when moving too.
Just finished welding the arches on the disco and I've got two sets of arch liners one set that stops crap going up inside the front wings which I've put back in,
The second set are made of a thicker foam and sit on the inner wing around the turrets.
Now I've waxoyled everything in there so do...
I'm in Plymouth, a couple of the blokes that I work with told me about it.
Although some of it looks a bit extreme I'll just stick to the learner slopes, only just had it welded up so I don't fancy wrecking it just yet.
Is there any way I can alter my settings so as not to be able to see peoples signature?
The main reason I'm asking is that there are some peoples signatures that take up half a page so I'm scrolling down and down and down and still on their bloody signature!
If they want useless ****e after...
Yes its where the tarp has been sitting on the canvas and holding the water against it.
Keep the tarp of and go to go outdoors or somewhere like that get some tent and canvas cleaner give it a good scrub and fabsil it should be fine.
If you're going to do it properly it'll take a bit of work.
Firstly I'd buy some fabsil and give the canvas a couple of good coats of that to keep it water tight.
The problem with TARPS is they can trap condensation in between the truck and itself so unless you splash out on a breathable car...
Had 2 300's an auto and now a manual. Had a td5 too for a short period.
For some strange reason that I can't really explain the 300 just feels more sturdy and I get a feeling that because of its rough idle and agricultural drive its not going to stop working.
With the td5 I always felt a bit...
