the only thing I can say is I have bearmach hd on my 90 and they are bloody harsh as far as stiffness goes, they may be better with the weight of a disco on em though.

stick some pictures up of what you need identifying, someone will know, at least as far as the axles are concerned. your engine numbers might be enough for dihatsu to id what it is aswell mate.

from what I remember the head bolts are not the rocker bolts but it has been years since I did mine, the head bolts are much bigger and 4 or five of them are visible externally from the injector side.

Doesnt the heat from welding normalise the component rendering any case hardening redundant? I don't personally know but just a thought. Not a component i'd want to weaken.

I had some bp super gaz yellows and matching springs, the lasted me a few months before they sagged and the shocks were shot. On the other hand i know folk who have used them with no bother. Personally i swear by the bearmach blues and pro comps. Been on a couple of years and ive had no issues...

When i stripped mine down i sealed every possible seam with silicone, and replaced the bulkhead seal aswell, the difference was huge, old 200 tdi box works a treat now and warms up loads quicker.

I cut some heavy rubber stable matting to fit exactly into the seat box are where the inspection panel is then screwd that to the bottom of my cubby. Lifts out easy when i want it to and never moves when i dont. Also adds a bit more sound proofing and insulation.

Mines great, loads better than the ****roen berlingo i use for work.

The ex used to scream at me to let me know my steering angle was too enthusiastic, i upgraded to a much less sensitive and far better built one and now the driving experience is a joy again. Not the cheapest option but worth the change :)

From what ive seen most mot machanics cant weld fer ****, practice for a day and go for it. Worst it can do is fail and need you to re- do it.
