I quite fancy a trek in my FL to Skye but have always been put off by the dreaded midges. Anyone have any tips on how to keep them away? :D I seem to have the sort of blood that they prefer as I am always getting attacked by the buggers.

Email a main dealer parts department. That's what I did. I only visited them to collect the paint.

A Land Rover main dealer will be able to tell you. If I recall correctly, you give them the vin number and they tell you the correct paint colour. On my registration docs it says gold, but the paint colour is atacama sand.

I currently have 2 x 21 inches on mine. I bought a new pair when they were on offer and this pair is a 21 and a 22 inch. I do notice with the 2 x 21 inches that it leaves some rain in the middle screen area after a sweep. I assume when I fit my new ones that won't happen.

The spindle is not absolutely needed as you can still adjust settings with a small screwdriver. You just have to remember that the arrow now points away from the setting you want and not to it as it would on the spindle. I might not bother getting a replacement.

I will have to get someone to ring for me as I am hard of hearing and struggle with a phone.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement spindle? Mine vanished after my local garage did some work on my FL. Obviously, I cannot prove they lost it but I know they did. I have emailed diesel tuning or whatever they are called but after 3 weeks, I still have no reply. :(

You usually need an adaptor that attaches to the multiplug. The actual one you will need depends on the radio that you get.
