I can't find any online receipt for the rear wiper I purchased, so it was either Euro Carparts or Halfrauds. My guess is Halfrauds.

I must be lucky as my rear wiper wipes the full area of the extent of the wiper. The old one didn't. I can't recall where I got this current rear wiper. I must investigate.

That was the source of water in my Cubby hole. I removed the carpet and siliconed around the edges and it fixed mine. That was a couple of years ago and no leaks since. :D

I removed the carpet and put silicone around the welds of mine and so far (over 2 years ago), no sign of dampness. :D

Yeah, you have to disable the air bag which you can't do on a FL1.

I suspected as much. I need to do some more research then. No strict regulations when my children were young.

Does my 2006 TD 4 have isofix fittings for a child car seat? Or is this a more modern concept and younger than my FL? I can't say that I have noticed anything that could be it but not really taken much notice until now. I need to get a safety seat for my 1 year old grandson. :D

I remember the days when there was much less traffic on the roads and you would always flash your lights and wave to those in the same type of vehicle as yours. It was always wide smiles and waving. Showing my age now.

Yours is pretty similar to mine. I replaced my EGR for the MOT in July, but might take a risk next summer.

Does the bypass look like the original EGR valve or is it completely different?

There used to be a product called 'Liquid Metal'. Don't know if it is still available but could that do the job and be conductive?

It should literally be dangling at the rear of the engine as you look at it from the front of car.

Is it actually worth having without wipers?

If the cable is still attached it has probably stretched. I think you can remove the cover around the lever in the cab and use a pliers to pull the cable. Once open, You can re-adjust the cable. I had to do this once but I can't recall if it was for my TD4 or my wife's old Zafira.

I can confirm that it works well. I had very little heat until I added the second stat. I am now cosy in winter. :D
