I already suggested that Nodge, that was my first thought. Said he changed it when he replaced the HP pump

The HP fuel pump is chain driven by the engine, usually only fails by leaking. Pointless changing it, Was the regulator and o ring replaced when you replaced pump? Split o ring can cause non starting
