So a question I have is could this be caused by a blockage and if so which pipe into the filter housing would i need to blow down to try to clear it back into the tank? if i can get it moving to move to yard or back to marina i would be much happier but cos its auto it can't be towed can it...

No problems with selector all all in the 12 months I have had it, always nice and easy, now in and out of Park is stiff, all the rest are as normal now. I will have a look when I can but have 300 mile drive tomorrow. o_O

Oh reference to the exhaust when in limp ish mode, it blows a tiny bit of smoke, brackish but only the once, then all seems fine.

It' raining which has put me off replacing the driver side push in ball joints today but am happy to drive and test :-)

Right I forgot to ask, should this unplugging off the maf sensor happen when cold or warm engine or does it not matter?
