Bollocks...bollocks.....bollocks Unless your speedo is correctly calibrated to the tyre size your running (original setups are typically 8-12% below) then you dont really have a clue what MPG your getting. Im running on 215/80/15s which when new will give a nearly accurate reading, but...

215/80/15 or 205/80/16 are tallest you will fit on FL without cutting the arches or fouling suspension....believe you can also get a 225/75/15 with a 30mm spacer

Definitely tyres if its thrumming:confused: Would say damper if it had been clonking....Thinks we need a full definition of all freelander noises... Clonking frpm the middle = Clanking from front = Grinding from the back = Squealing from the driver = Just got bill from stealer etc etc etc

SWMBO had mine out yesterday and went through a flood ... (think it was burst main rather than weather) ... reckoned it was deeper than ones she drove through this summer so I reckon must be about 3ft at least.... Not seen motor yet but apparently has full compliment of doors etc. Possible...

Often caused by lambda sensor or knackered cat, but can be caused by numerous things...you need someone with a simple OBII (Depending on age of motor) code reader who can check whats causing faults to start with. You will now be told by thems that wear mad hats etc that you were a fookwit...

As above redex or similar but you could always invest in an LPG system...mine never gets above 0.2% of allowed emmisions even with straight through pipes
