we simply removed the silencer and its pipe and fitted a 6" round powerflow with a length of connected to the original exhaust pipe and routed between the suspension arms .
I have only done a bit of gentle laneing but nothing has caught yet
TOUCH WOOD!!
you might have to buy a baffle however as its kinda loud
and the lack of back pressure alters the power delivery more top endy if you know what I mean

hehe

I think MHM means those stop/brake lollypop signs you see in pit stops.

You get the feeling Doobey is gonna dump the clutch any second..........but...........but............but............

Nothin happens, not even wheel spin :)

NI....

Ah that type of lollipop... me thinking either type that the lady stands outside school with...or type we used to stick to forks/spokes on pushbike to make a engine noise....Doh

No clutch in a V6 but had teld my youngest (doin revvin) not to touch owt else..(Hes good at getting it going but forgets about the stoppin bit). Will do a sequel when I get a suitable chance/place....etc

CREWBIKER.....

Picked up as Fleabay bargain that someone else had paid big money for...little bit of modding to fit but worthwhile giving more power and better economy

EDGE....

That looks exactly same as my original setup

2001 F/L £1100, rear diff mounts £30.00. New CHG and hose mods £450.00 the banter on here??.....Priceless.

hehe now ya tell us! That'll teach me to try and read the mind of a mad man ;)

Think the lollypop stick in the spokes stopped in my generation, now if you had of mentioned spokey dokeys ;)

Never touch the black stuff, its like sticking a 2p in your mouth and enjoying the metallic taste of copper.

yeah it sure does, even turned the head of a defender driver this morning on the way to work!

Still need to sand down the body filler and spraypaint round the edges (there aint a lot of filler to sand tbh and i gave it a spray before fitting) i'm just keeping the bonnet muddy for the time being so it blends without paint :D

standing on the driveway with a bit of wet and dry sandpaper doesn't appeal to me one bit with the type of weather at the moment :(. I may just take it to a paintshop now that the hard bit is out the way.

Also halfway through fitting a pipercross viper induction. It's enclosed already so no need for a custom airbox after all and will still keep heat and water out.

After that it's stainless steel loud exhaust and 2" lift!! (at least if my mum doesn't start mithering for board money lol, fingers crossed i can put it off for a few more weeks!)

Good job, I wouldnt attempt to DIY spray if the temp is below 20oC, the oven bake finishers do exactly what they say on the tin..................... heat the sausage rolls to golden brown :p ;)

If you spray when cold and damp, the paint will bloom!

As they say in MG-Rover.org to any person starting to modify........... welcome to the dark side
