Spent 3h pulling 3 cables in through the roll cage. All the draw wires had melted them selfs together in one big mess from the welding.

I'm building a roll cage at the mo and was thinking of making this front sticky up bit but I don't no what it's for. Is it to help protect the bonnet if you are upside down.

Check for 12v at the fuel cut off solenoid at the back of the high-pressure fuel pump. If u have voltage crack off the nipples on the injectors to get any air out.

Got the cage back on the disco and fully welded it on. Made and fitted 2 rear supports from the cage to 6mm plates welded on the chassis. Going to weld in the internal cross tomoz and start painting the new welds.

Did the last coat of painting on the cage last night. Going to get the lads round later to give us a lift so it can be welter on and start the electrics. Hopefully I'll have time to weld the internal in and get the support in for the chassis to tree sliders.

Why use loctite, you don't on the wheel nuts. I tightened them to the same talk of the wheels

Keyed the cage and put the first coat of black paint on last night. Didn't finish till 12:00 so getting my m8 Sam to do the second coat tonight as I go out for a curry :D

Structural I've got bits going inside for support as well

Finished moking up the internals for the role cage so I could finally take it off and fully weld it and start to paint it.

The Sealey one looks good. Will weld the chassis with ease but if you'r doing a lot of welding I would get a big bottle of Gass and a reg to fit. The little bottles are a rip off. U will need a auto mask and a pair of welding gloves

Thanks 5tox Got the 2 roof triangles finished today. Would of got Moor done but got distracted with my new oxy/propane torch. Cuts through 12mm steel plate like butter
