    P38 1 - bungalow 0

I'd be popping her in reverse and dragging the rest of the house out with it! What do they say, horse power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take it with you...! (disclaimer, ive read the article and I know it was involved in another accident before hitting the bungalow!)

Range Rover L405 - Rear Seat Removal

I would have thought so, I got half way through writing a reply to that ilk yesterday but must have got distracted. The problem is the car is so sophisticated that it will know who is sat in the rear and it will cause all sorts of problems if you just remove the seats. Mainly as Mercedes have...

    poss new p38 owner

You might see 20mpg being very careful on a steady run on the motorway but if you are mainly round town bet on 13mpg, general knocking about mixture of short and longer runs I get around 16mpg. Look at a few vehicles before choosing, try and buy an MY99 car onwards with a Thor engine they are...

    P38 Rolling Resto

If the cold and warm work on both sides and on the screen etc its a good sign. Often the condenser fails and you end up with a sieve effect. I had this on my last P38, I took it to an aircon regas place who had an adapter on an airline and they just filled the aircon system with compressed air...

    P38 Rolling Resto

Well either way, working on the cost per mile mentioned he can let us know in 14k miles or so if he's broken even!

    P38 Rolling Resto

So are you saying your 85l of gas has managed 150 miles and its gone? By my working that is 8mpg on gas? Remote locking, have you changed the battery's in the fob? Do you have one or two keys? Make sure you change the pollen filters as well as they often missed. As for the Aircon not working, do...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Received my spare key back from repair and synced it to the old girl. Two working remote keyfobs... what a treat!

    Battery

If its draining a battery after a day or so then there is something keeping the car awake. Even a relatively small battery should last longer than that. I would have a look into battery drain problems and start there.

    Classic Deal or no deal

As others have said its probably possible but probably not worth it. A friend of mines dad has a couple of classics, an old 3 door which was lovely up until 15 years ago or more when someone rammed it of the road with a cavalier and wrote it of. However hes still got it, apart from the damage it...

In this case Mozz it appears to be a system fault, have checked the usual relay 7 and swapped it just in case. Pollen filters are new. The Aircon does actually work (shock horror) and the drivers side works perfectly in all modes, its just sadly the passenger side just blows cold air and will...
