I used Britpart outriggers and rear cross member, no issues in nine years. Also two Britpart fuel tanks fitted, they went on fine and are perfectly good. I believe Britpart bought in a dodgy batch of fuel tanks that didn't fit and that problem is now in the past.

There's no way of knowing for certain, all you can do is look in the top as Tottot has already said. You will have to take the top cover off; that's the one that covers the selector forks. It isn't that simple though because you can lose the detent balls in the box if you don't tackle it right...
