    This is the shaft that joins the gearbox to the transfer box (front to back) not sure what the correct name for the parts are. I have been back to Jaguar Landrover, asked them to clarify why the parts were not greased from new, this being the case, they are not fit for purpose by law.

    No, they are not even admitting there was a problem, Harwoods the West Sussex main dealer, told my local garage it was a common fault due to no grease, on the parts 'blow up' picture is shows a big sachet of grease and points to the parts to be greased !!
