My mrs done my old 200 disco and it's pretty easy if you take your time and use plenty of water & get descent tint. On my 300 disco I paid to have it done (my mrs refused this time) and it cost £140 for all the windows (except the front 2 cause it's illegal )

Halfords are doing them for £45 , With a front Aux input.

Love them,But I think I'd have a disco3/4 HSE if I had a choice. Doesn't the sport have the same chassis as a disco 3 ? .But whatever I get next I'll still keep my disco 300tdi ,love it. The mileage you'll be doing I'd get a V8 for sure !

My old 200 disco was a 3 door and I'm sure i adjusted the pop out window by loosening the brackets inside . Then move it back and fourth until you get it right.

Depends on what type you want ? Genuine would be a lot of work and money as the lights are a different shape , Loads of aftermarket on EBay

I know it's not the same but my 300tdi fan runs all the time. What about the thermostat, Cheap & easy to change.

Got one on my disco & I've noticed the warm up time on the way to work at 5am.

183,000 on my disco 300tdi , My mates disco in work is on 230,000 miles and going well.

No mate, It sounds like it's coming from underneath the drivers side. Freewheeling there isn't a noise but as soon as I put it into gear it starts to scream. The faster I go the louder it gets.

Started today on my 300tdi disco, up to 30mph you can hear it. After that speed it disappears. It doesn't make the noise in neutral or freewheeling. Doesn't sound like the fan belt ,Dry uj's ?

Maybe the wrong word , I meant the plastic cover on top of the fan. I did mine in 20 mins with the fan in

No, just the plastic cowl

As said try the penny trick , undo the belt tensioner & put a penny in the 9'oclock position & tighten back up. 15mm ring spanner , if that don't stop it replace the tensioner. Cheap & easy , you don't need to do anything to the radiator.

It was an immaculate 200tdi with sunroofs that never leaked , Recon gearbox ,new sills & boot floor . I was very gutted

I do Miss my 200tdi disco 3 door , But this is what it looked like after a "Friend" put some weld on my rear arch.
