TD5, single-handedly managed to get the jet fitted and the nut onto the threads through the ashtray. I'll explain the trick later but am trying to tighten the nut with a 13 spanner and don't know if I'm getting anywhere. So, is the nut 13, I know I should have tried it when it was in my hand but...

Flexi is on wrong way 'round, it should face away from the shock. Way it is now, it will be rubbing off shock and cause wear.....

Have you a Halfords nearby, I think they stock it and a small amount does go a long way.....

Is it soft rubber? Maybe this is obvious but I fitted a grommet to a Defender. Had to take the prop off, fit the grommet then fit the prop back through the grommet. If I tried to fit with the grommet on the prop first it just wouldn't go into the hole.....

Good news, that's given me a bit of confidence. Let's hope the reassembly goes smoothly.....

Hi Bruce, avidly following your progress. Can you make sure to document the removal and fitting of the 'Halfshaft Collar' and the bearing race 'cause I have that to do in a week or two. Thanks, appreciate the time it takes to photograph the work as it's being done.....

The only way to check the UJs is to feel for play, make use of that nipple and keep them well greased.....

Agree with the Drive Flanges, I was doing rear brake pads and noticed the excess play in the flanges. Changed those two and it took a lot of the 'clunk' out of. And it's an easy job.....

Are you sure its not fuse, have you got Interior Lights, I think they are on the same one.....

Mine is 01, Coniston Green, LRC637.....
