Could anyone point me in the direction to purchase a new intake hose for my TD5 90? I've found mine has a rather large hole in it! I've got a raised intake so not sure if it's original or not. It's the flexi hose/duct/pipe that connects the airbox to the plastic union which I think has a drain...

I'm looking to replace the props on my 90 TD5 for some wide angle jobbies, Gwyn Lewis was my first port of call but I stumbled on the terrafirma set which are a bit cheaper. Are they any good or should I just fork out for the Gwyn Lewis set?

Does anyone know where I can get a panhard rod fixed eye (the type that you can put normal bushes in) to replace the rose joint that's on mine? Stainless bushes are lasting about a week at current and I'm getting fed up, I think it's an extreme 4x4 rod (came with the vehicle) but they want over...

I did, was getting some vibration with the standard prop due to lift and castor correction so swapped to a double. that failed immediately although it did fix the vibrations straight away so switched back, still get vibration but I'd rather that than snapping props. I still think it's the way...

Is your TD5 making more than standard power? If not then yes a 1.2 would definitely feel flat as it only makes about 120bhp from the factory! The 300tdi is about 110bhp. Like I said I'm making about 160 in mine and even that feels a bit sluggish compared to when I had the 1.4 fitted.

Yup, hence the reason I fitted a double carden prop. Been running the standard one for a little while now with no issue and it's had a tough workout. I assume it was just a ****e prop, another britpart product to avoid! Reckon I'm going to invent a CV propshaft, UJ's are prehistoric in relation...

Yup, had a spare standard one at home so that's on there for now until I get a resolution.

I paid £40 from a friend for a 1:2 off a disco from my TD51:4. Local LR mechanic wanted £200 for one off the used shelf. Job took me a few hours, worst part is the gear lever connections. You may need to swap a few parts around so make sure you do that first (handbrake). What engine do you have...

It's in the post, hopefully I'll get my money back. Thing had only done 100 miles and was yet to be put under any real strain.

Heading back to manufacturer for inspection. See what happens I suppose.

Has the red plug to ecu been cleaned out of oil recently? Even after the injector loom is changed you should keep cleaning the oil out of there for a while. It's free so worth a try! Although I'd say it was more likely air in the system :(

+2" springs, +2" shocks, extended bumps, castor correction that's about all. Not sure if you can see it in the image but looking closely at the break one side is clean and the other appears to have paint on the face of the break! Possibly a crack before hand assuming this prop is reconditioned?
