I ordered the following kit from island4x4 but the bearings don't fit the stub axles on my 1999 TD5 90 front axle? The bearings fit the hub fine but won't slide over the stub axle. Could someone with more knowledge point me at the right kit?

2 x Wheel Bearing Kit (OEM) 90/110 D1 RRC DA2381 DA2383 DA2384 DA238 £30.00

Is it quite obvious they are the wrong size or is it very very close, you will find that the bearings have to be accurately aligned to get them to slide on.

Very close, didn't want to force them on. Perhaps a little alignment and a bit of persuasion?

What @Kwakerman said, they have to well lined up, and a good tap with the knee to push them on. I reckon we all do the same and try to put them on at an angle, some how. One trick I have seen is to use an old halfshaft to take the weight so you can line the hub up more inline with the stub axle. Stick the half shaft (or metal bar) through the hub from outside, stick the bar and hub into the stub axle far enough that the bar takes the weight. It just helps to be able to manoeuvre the hub assembly straight.
