I have been locked inside my Discovery. I had to gain the attention of a neighbour by using the horn. All I had to do was press the keyfob to release the locks. But I wonder how I locked myself in the car. Could I have pressed the keyfob Lock button?

Thanks frostythor. There is a small drilled hole in the guttter, but only on the drivers side. I have added sealant to that part of the gutter, blocking the hole off.

Thanks for the advice. I have already found a gap in the rubber seal that holds the windscreen in. I have sealed that and found a hole in the gutter. I need to find out whether that is meant to be a drainage channel/pipe. If it is a drainage channel then I'll make sure its clear - might be tree...

I only have water coming in where, possibly the front drivers side drainage is blocked. I did ask whether there is drainage from the car's gutter or not.

Thanks Bobdog. I did of course check for leaks in the heater matrix and elsewhere. In fact I have carried out a dye test utilising an ultra violet torch that I thought I had mentioned. The coolant loss is one litre per 5 miles. A round trip of 64 miles used 12 litres of coolant! I am not...
