Hi all, had to replace whole mirror unit Removed interior plastic, undid the 3 bolts , unhooked TWO wiring harnesses then lifted old mirror off Held new mirror up but new one only has one wiring plug, which is problem 1 Problem 2 though is the whole mirror is wobbly and doesnt seem secure...

Where do you put it? Just simply around the existing seals on the outside?

Whole thing was flushed out though with a special machine, it's an auto if that makes any difference!

What's the specific difference in blanking and removal? If its just unbolting one thing and bolting something in its place, that's easy for me But people are talking about cooler hoses which scares me! Also strange why some kits have the main pipe bit and others have 3 blanking plates

To save starting a new thread! I am keen to do this, what's the difference between blanking and removal? I see online that there are 2 different set ups depending on the age, if mine is a 53 plate what does that mean? With the new MOT rules however is this an instant fail...

Passed mot yesterday and sorted my immobiliser problems by turning the alarm system off altogether with a nanocom Yeeha!

Well..! Passed MOT first of all yesterday, yeeha! Secondly, very kind user on d2boysclub let me come round We plugged nanocom in, set Alarm to "not installed" or whatever it said and low and behold, no immobiliser problems as I dont have an immobiliser now!!!
