    Help with Air Suspension Fault

allcomms is a bit of a hit/miss on 2005 as it has some bmw and some ford electronics. hawkeye does the 2005, and fault mate which both will read error codes on the air suspension and do various resets etc

LPG Vs MAF no winners... I Need Someone With Experience

unfortunately it's not going to be that easy, there is no set way or locations for installing the lpg components, it really is down to the fitter where he installs the relevant parts. so it's a bit of a minefield. why not just leave the lpg system on and just run it on petrol? if there is no...

LPG Vs MAF no winners... I Need Someone With Experience

position of the lpg ecu will depend on supplier who fitted it, mine for example is fitted in to the top of the ebox (big black box on drivers side) you will also find the inlet manifold will have been drilled & tapped to fit in gas injectors so you will need to replace that as well.

    L322 suspension questions

it is most likely the main valve block located on the front of the tank under a plastic cover, maybe easier to locate the pipe from the compressor and crack it open to see if you have air coming through to the valve.

    L322 suspeion inactive

That was my thought, however it seems previous owner replaced all the height sensors with genuine LR so it's time to clean all the connectors. Failing that it could be a faulty suspension Ecu.

    L322 suspension questions

I'm not 100% sure on that, it's a complex system, if there is a problem with the air tank or the pump the car should lock in road height, or even if there is a fault it should also stay at road height. Any air exhausted from the system should be done at the pump, one way to test would be to use...

    L322 suspension questions

Suspension could be any number of things pump is possible but car should lock at road height, could be an air pipe leaking somewhere, or the air tank. It's normal for the pump to run and cut out if it senses it's not putting pressure into the system.

    Hawkeye/faultmate

i use allcomms & hawkeye on my l322, the hawkeye is very basic compared to the allcomms, the hawkeye only covers basic ecus (engine, tranmission, security, suspension, abs, airbag module) half of which need another adaptor to access, it reads & clears codes and does live data but thats about it...

    L322 strange suspension issue

well i have been out this morning and checked the wiring inside the right rear of the boot and it all seems dry, so until i get a bit more time i have unplugged the tow bar electrics i think it could be water ingress in the 7pin socket or corroded connections. the good news in unplugging the...

    L322 Front hubs

so to put this to bed, pulled it apart today and found checking the wheel bearing for play in several positions, i found a small amount of play in one area of the bearing (about 1/4 of the wheel circumference) it's only 1-2mm of movement, but that coupled with rust build up on the metal front...

    L322 strange suspension issue

i did think about that as i do have a tow bar (although the ball is off the car) and the electrics are mounted under the rear bumper (out of sight out of mind) i noticed yesterday on the motorway, i was doing 70 and the lock light was on and it never dropped, about a mile later it had unfrozen...

hi guys not sure why my car is doing it, but as i'm driving normally the suspension height lock light comes on and the car locks into trailer mode. couple of miles later it returns to normal, only to switch to trailer mode again and so on. not sure where to start looking to find the fault so any...
