L322 2005 Vogue elec. problems everywhere..please help.

Hi Folks..any help would be great..

1.Headlamps flicker slightly.
2.'Air suspension inactive' ..try DIY refurb ?
3.Sunroof started to 'whistle' slightly...will not fully close up at rear end.
4.Sat.Nav/CD/Radio has nearly ? died ?...mostly just get a plain screen, with LR logo, and a 'squelch sound' every 5 secs.?..does not Autotune,CD inop , Touch screen not working..
5. New problem....Battery discharged overnight 4 times in last 3/4 weeks...recharge , then OK.
Clue..when switching vehicle off ,and remove keys,and lock , STILL get 'chattering ' audible outside , from behind dash/Radio area.??

any ideas which fuses/locations to check ? anything else ?
RF receiver ?..what/where ?

Get a gallon of petrol, pour all over and ignite. Make sure you use premium unleaded.

The flat battery could be heater final stage resistor. The suspension I would get the codes read first.

I'd advise against it, you will only get acute RSI, especially if using the cheap 'wheeled' cigarette lighters, your thumb/s will look hideous.
Diesel simply won't ignite on it's own.

Sounds like you have two options: 1) gas and match; or 2) grab a meter and start measuring battery drain on each fuse. I would start my focus where you are hearing that chatter noise (unless it is some arsonist mice). If you need the car - pull the offending fuse while you sort through the mess - assuming it is not critical.

I rebuilt my compressor with BagPipe Andy seals. Works just fine.

if you do a search you will find all the info on the final stage resistor, quite common on the l322...............otherwise i can lend you some petrol with 2250% apr interest

2 ) air susp inactive could well just be down to low voltage throwing up a fault. Don't spend any money without getting the fault codes read/reset.

4) have you checked in the Boot compartment (N/S). Behind the trim is where the sat nav and some ECU computers live, check for damp there - common issue.

5) As already stated, could be final stage resistor (sounds like the HEVAC system is not going to sleep)
Does the interior fan still work when engine is off/key out??
