We use fairy liquid on the tires,paint it on with a brush let it dry paint the wheels and power wash the fairy off. Nice and simple and a little goes a long way :D .

The wiper motor is in a different place as well but i am using the puma wiper so that fine for me.

Thank you. as for the bulkhead you just have to cut the Puma gearbox tunnel off as it is spot welded on then i drilled 7mm holes then filled square to take the plastic things that the screws go in to and basically thats it. It does have a few extra holes in it but if you don't want them like me...

Thanks Buddy, It may be a possibility in the future :D. Tonight i achieved to bend and fit all the brake pipes and bleed them up also fitted the power steering back on just couldn't be arsed to dig the ATF out to get that bled up.:(:)

Grey is fine but red would be better. As long as the filler is for aluminium it will be fine and just use your normal primers.

I have the spring mate but it's servo assisted so is nice and easy.

If you are just rubbing down to recoat then i would be using 320grit and scotch brite pads.Where the corrosion is start with 120 then up and i use an acid etch wash primer,i find it better than just an etch primer. So acid etch,primer then top coat.

I'm sure you can,the best thing i bought was a Clarke shot blasting pressure pot absolutely brilliant you just need a big enough compressor to keep up with it.

Well it's alive started straight up (thank god) but was missing on number one Panic time,but turned out a quick adjustment of the tappets and all was fine.:D:D:D Certainly more responsive at reving that before,lets hope the refurbed injectors and Turner Engineering head pay off.

I would be tapping the bracket open on the axle if it where mine, but only if it's a bit. I have just replaced my front ones with genuine bushes and had to tap them open a bit and they where genuine that was in there already .:D

Thanks for the comments. :) Sorry no is the easiest way to put it,they were a pain to make as the folder i have to use is not the best. :D I may at a later date do some but not yet. Well got the bulkhead painted and in position tonight.

Cheers matey although its not quite rolling under it's own steam yet :D . Painted the radiator frame tonight and got the new radiator and intercooler mounted in it.

The head is their performance one they only do exchange ones on the 200 tdi now as for the rest it's just bog standard Defender 200 tdi stuff.

Thanks for the comments. I have only ever done it once before on an old series 3 but not to this extent though. As for the back panels they weren't that bad yes they needed fitting and didn't just drop in but that's what you get when buying spurious panels. The corner capping is genuine Land...

Well i have bought 2.5 ltrs of 2k which will give me 3.75 ltrs of paint with the activator in there an i'm hoping this should be enough but i do like to get plenty on so probably not:D ,as for wet and dry i couldn't tell you as i just use the DA sander it make's the job a lot easier.
