dont think its a bodge as its the same on this landy, the piece of trim thats surround by red.

I would expect the crossmember to go the whole width of the rear bed. this only goes the width of the opening, it looks like it maybe a cover for the crossmember

to me it looks like a bit of painted Ali, dont think its the crossmember. but could be wrong its certainly not an early landy, its a 2002 DCPU

How do I replace this? is it easy to do? also what is the part number? tia

Insurance on a TD5 at 17 yrs of age will be a killer, you will be probably looking at £1k plus so bear that in mind, also if you need to do research on trailer licenses, a new licencee cant just tow any trailer anymore!

does it start better with more or less fuel in the tank?

how full or empty is the fuel tank? when it occurs?

I'm hoping thats what it is but ti was recently changed when it was done only a couple of months ago. Will order another and go from there. Any other suggestions on what it could be? As I said also seems a lot of slack as you can hear something clang when you dip the clutch

more of a drone, mainly when reversing but does happen going forwards as well in 1st gear. It does seem to disapear when warm, only appears when cold or been stood for a little while. Also seems a lot of slack in what ever lever moves when you dip the clutch as you can hear it sort of clang

I recently had the clutch done on my 110 td5 but it just started making a noise, mainly when you reverse and its at the biting point, anyone have any ideas? tia
