    Sounds like the solenoid is not releasing, go with NeilC option above, or empty a can of proper penetrating fluid around the solenoid, assuming you still have the rear handle off

    Alrite Gaz! FL1 carpets are pretty tough and fully synthetic, not sure if the dye will bond chemically? Your carpets will take a good power hosing, strong water tight backing, very durable woven, worth a try, best removed first before a power hose! ;)

    143 teeth manual tensioner with 23mm bolt (except VVC engines which have 26mm bolt) 145 teeth automatic tensioner with 26mm bolt. Not sure you are right about the sprockets and pulley, last I counted there are 48 teeth on K16 cam sprockets (LHB 101360)..............away to check parts bin!
