Been looking for some black leather seats myself as I have the same as you, 3 door with black paint and black cloth interior.
I guess only problem in changing to cream seats is finding door cards, center consol, etc to match?

Every time I change my car, I tell myself that I will buy one with black interior, but when it comes to spending my money, I end up getting the lighter colours as the black is well, just to dark inside. I also have a sunroof. I like the airy feeling. I would have had the large panoramic sunroof on my previous Yeti had it been available at the time, that was also a light colour interior:

And yes, I did take it off road....

hiya

thks guys

they both look really good and given me room to think about the colours

going to get all my dashboard carpets and matrix done, can then decide what to do

does anyone know of a link please of the colours that were fitted to the freelanders please

suppose the facelift seats wont fit mine would they being a 2002 , just dont know if they changed the mounting positions etc

thks so much again , will post some pics as i go in case it helps anyone in the future

thks buddy

they do look lovely these leather seats

my current seats are a greyish colour and think the same colour as yours would look good

my only one concern is ive got a labrador and bichon and wondering how the seats would hold up

however seen some decent back seat covers

Landrover Freelander 1 3/5 Door Waterproof Rear Seat Covers Black | eBay

but in the same token if im going to cover them whether its worth actually replacing them due to having the dogs

as u can tell cant make decisions to save my life, lolol

am still hunting for a carpet and may have found one up north, time will tell

also noticed youve got a mat over the rear centre tunnel, never seen them like that, can u buy them like that in one piece plse

thks again

Tunnel mat is an old matt we had in a rr vogue from years ago. Just a rubber matt cut to cover the tunnel carpet bought from a shop, like the ones on top of the LR matts in the front.

If you have dogs in yer car is will smell of dogs. Seats etc are more likely to get damaged. Just cover what you have or it's a waste in my opinion.

Is the carpet black or grey?

I thought you were selling it for a disco?

hiya,

after a real long hard thought and as my circumstances changed with me now being a widower, i weighed up my options

ive had the hippo for over 3 years now and been a great car, very comfortable easy to drive and felt a discovery with just me and the dogs would be too big , so decided to stick with my faithful hippo,

my carpet at the moment is black and covered in marks, stains etc and the interior looks very tired

got hold of a decent non marked dashboard , as ive got to replace the heater matrix and also the carpet is tucked under the dashboard and has to come out to do the matrix, thought it better to replace it at the same time

got all the panels stripped out, and one of the rear seats and gave it a clean which has come up nice. its the fronts that are marked and will see how they come up

the only regret i have is i wished i got the 5 door instead of a 3 door so the dogs can get in and out easier, still never mind

will post some pics once ive stripped out the entire interior, then put some sound proofing in ive got, run the wires through for my spots whilst the dashboard is out ,

am looking forward doing this and will keep me occupied and not bothered if it takes weeks on end

really appreciate all the help

Hmm, interior colour scheme.
My first car was a Rover 3 litre [Mk 1A], Rover white paint with red leather seats, red wilton carpets and lovely walnut wood trim. It still is my favourite colour scheme and if money were no object I'd probably go for a custom job!.

Currently my R25 has the charcoal grey leather - quite nice too. I do like the Pimento red that the Evoque offers but I feel that is on the pink end of the red spectrum - if there's such a thing!

PS do R200/25/MGZR Front seats fit a FL?

just a thought, if it is just you and the dogs why don't you fold the rear seats and keep the dogs in the boot, plenty of space for them there and no stains on the seats when you get to need them.

now u may have something there , but i put both of them into harnesses and clip them in so when i brake etc they dont come forward or hurt themselves

but will have a look as ive got the luggage clips in the floor and some spare bedding i can put down for them and the seat belt clipping system is all adjustable or got some double clip leads so that they can still be safely clipped in

not that there spoilt, lolol but agree they would indeed have plenty of room with the seats down and will also protect the seats from marks etc

thks buddy
