Yes I know the Dakar is very expensive. I would just do my local rally which is like a mini Dakar.

Thanks for the reply, yes it has the ram type snorkel. I'll have a look under the hood when I visit him again. Does a performance turbo look a bit different than stock turbo? What other changes should I look for? I would assume that I won't be able to see a difference in the injection pump...

I don't think there is a problem with the one which has bad throttles response. I think it is how it is supposed to be but my question was if a snorkel and intercooler can make the difference in sound and performance.
