As Datatek says, check the battery, battery battery. They are very battery hungry motors with a hell of a lot of electrics on, the slightest drop in voltage can cause a whole world of issues. HTH

Remember the car is coming up 14 years old. If it is the original compressor it hasn't done badly IMO! They don't last forever. IIRC the compressors are dated somewhere??? But You never know, it may have had a leak at some point before you purchased it in it's earlier life which took some of...

There is a fuse of in the cabin for the FBH, open to glovebox pull it down as far as it will go there is a little fuse box behind the little cover that Pulls down, I think it's under 'auxiliary heater'. Check the fuse. When the FBH is running in the cabin with the engine ticking over, over...

After you have fully fitted the 'de-ace' kit (incl the idler and new belt) you will get an ACE light on the dash, you will need to plug the car into nanocom or similar to tell the BCU that ACE is no longer fitted then you will have no warning lights in the dash. HTH.

Yes, certainly on the early L322 the front O/S height sensor is different to the N/S.

I cannot fault Euros, bought my Bosch S5 020 from them, 3 weeks short of the 5yr warranty ending took it back as it wouldn't hold its charge and they just replaced it for me no questions asked. Probably exactly the same as the Bosch battery but with a different sticker on it!

Ignore physical Battery size, as you say it's the CCA and AH that you need to look at. Don't get a cheap 'unknown' make though, get a known reputable one IMO. This is what I have in my TD6. https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/bosch/s5015/ There was a post recently about 019 020 batteries...

How much are you out of pocket Keith? I on a couple of occasions have had issues with smallish sales (£20-£30) not delivered, or wrong items delivered and after starting up a dispute have had the cases found in 'my favour' and refunds given with no problems.
