Its always hard to start however I remove the negative terminal when I'm not using it.

Yes Steve, lead was big and the battery fully charged. Questioning the starter now that it is poorly turining

The heater plugs are connected in series, so if one went bad, wouldn't all? Hence I would never start it, but sometimes it starts. Soooo would this rule out the plugs?

Lets say my alternator is not working, could this affect the startup in any way? Thanks!
