    Goodbye 90, hello 110 project

That's a good idea because you can lay in the foam / carpet / whatever and don't have to hold it until the glue dries like I did with my 88" h/t years ago.

    Is LandyZone a Club?

I'm going to pitch it as a club when my 110 V8 is ready for the road and see what they say. I reckon it will be fine. As for the fight club, let's not talk about it.

I forgot about the donate facility.

    Is LandyZone a Club?

I had an insurance quote for my lightly modified V8 110 and they offered 10% off if I was in a club. So I plan to join a club, but really LandyZone does everything I need I was wondering if it constitutes a club already (mutual support, meet-ups, advice, etc) and if not what would it take to...

My new (old) Defender .. ;)

Great pictures - this is what my 110 CSW needs done to it.

It's actually much nicer when we all get along.

    17" wheel options?

I started to Google it then thought hang on .... dude can do this himself. Perhaps someone who knows and isn't fed up answering questions about wheels and tyres will answer. Welcome to the forum.

    What amperage cables?

I have bought 5 metres of 7 core thinwall trailer cable in order to resolve immediate problems. £7.65 there cannot be a cheaper way to get 35 metres of cable in 7 colours. I will solve some issues and plan to renew the loom in the future if I keep it.

Rear door not locking......help please. 90 model

Mine is quarter turn to right to lock, then back to vertical to get the key out. Quarter turn to left to unlock, back to vertical to get key out. Upload a picture in case its something obvious to those in the know.

Agree with all above, plus I particularly like the side steps.

    What amperage cables?

Ah I see what you're saying there. I was looking at the autosparks website earlier, but it was a bit pricey. VWP seems like a sensible option for a workhorse.

What have you done to your Landie today.

Removed broken battery positive terminal clamp. Realised replacement clamp was inadequate.

    What amperage cables?

Going to be correcting some bodged electrics behind the dash on my CSW, replacing scotch connectors and so on with single strand wires and perhaps spade connectors where I want to be able to separate easily. I plan to get a variety of wires "for stock". What is a good selection to get in...

    Rock slider step

I am thinking about the same problem although I don't yet have tree sliders I was thinking of a thicker tube and wrapping it in round in rubber matting, however anything grippy that sticks out stops the tree "slider" effect too. You also don't want the edge of some checker plate on the top. The...

    Quick release battery terminals

I think I will just get standard jobbie. Prefer tube - type rather than the fragile looking screw - down clamp type.

    What version is this dash?

So far tried this: 1. New PRC8593 200tdi temp sensor. No difference. 2. Also tried new PRC6663 temp sensor - some disagreement on forum as to correct part number but only £fiver - seems to have wrong thread. No difference. 3. Above-pictured earth removed and rubbed down until shining...

    Quick release battery terminals

I need to change a terminal on my battery (D110). Has anyone fitted these to a car? They seem to be advertised for leisure batteries only, motorhomes, caravans etc., but they seem like a good idea for landrovers requiring frequent tinkering. Am I just being lazy?
