Brilliant thanks. I recently had an experience drilling into an Allen bolt, it was an absolute nightmare. Perhaps next time I'll be more prepared.

Well reading this thread I learnt that you should use coolant when drilling metal - so that's a positive :) Any more tips for someone that doesn't really drill like me? Cheers.

I'm no expert but I think under body protection is a good idea - especially if it's your daily driver. If you dent a body panel you can still drive it, if you smash a diff or bend a steering arm/panhard rod then it's a bit different. Depends how wild you plan on going I suppose! Foz

Done a couple of bits this weekend. As I said in the previous post, I had a bad UJ - so i chose to replace the whole propshaft for ease. It's safe to say the UJ was knackered... Old vs New I FINALLY got round to fitting the extended arch that had been missing since the day i bought it -...

Finally fitted and wired up the electric fan. It's just a very basic 14" fan on a switch. Additional relay for fan, wires getting even messier. and now finally one of my switches has a function :) Foz

As above, check the propshafts/UJs for play - they will cause vibration and knocks when accelerating/decelerating. Foz

Yeah it does have a suspension lift, no idea on the brand of those. I think they're due a replacement one side sags a little. The body lift is from a guy called Wizard, he has been making lift kits for a while i believe and it comes with everything you need - minus the bumper relocation...
