Thanks for opinion . I was considering a RRS myself in future , but hate that EPB system and the repair bills that it can throw . I've always done my own servicing on my Disco 1 . but I feel the EPB would require a main stealer to service and repair .

Have a buddy with a RRS 2006 and he seldom uses the EBP he instead leaves vehicle in park , all in an effort to minimise wear and tear and servicing on the handbrake. Is he doing right ?

Half of them i have looked at buying have rear prop removed. I know why .... VCU usually. But how can I then check IRD is working properly ?

Anyone know if the RR 2.7tdv6 requires body off also for those repairs ie timing belts ,turbo etc or is there a little more room ?

So the RRS after 2006 has the same engine TDV6 and auto box as the D3 I now understand . If so that is good enough as a few friends of mine have over 200k miles on their D3s TDV6 and that is nothing to complain about . I had the usual problems with my D3 ,Handbrake ,compressor, EGR over five...

That was a lot of info in one reply thanks Does the RRS TDV6 (may consider one ) have a better auto box than the L322 ? You say its identical to D3 I do about 25k a year and tow so has to be diesel I am afraid.

Hi Was considering buying a L322 td6 2004 . Are they much more troublesome and expensive to run than my 06 Disco 3 tdv6 ? The L322 considering it is old, with full service history , and 130k miles Opinions appreciated.

I had same issue , I cut out the rust and plated over the hole only . .

Fitted new front calipers pads and discs , and the front brakes now pull equal and straight . So impressed I will next do rears calipers discs and pads, Ta all

check drive flanges also

Try removing rear prop shaft with diff lock engaged and see how it behaves ?

Did you feel any windup in the drive system try driving on gravel ?
