I've mounted a Euro 13-pin socket just below the driver side tail light....a little drilling required tho...and it's totally out of the way of getting soaked in mud and or hitting rocks....!!!!
finally found the problem...though a little weird.......
it's the 15A fuse in the vehicle (fuse #1).....when looking at it it's not burnt out, but when tested with multimeter, its not passing through current....replaced and everything back to normal........

thanks for the info guys....was in a rush to go out with the caravan friday afternoon when I found out that the disco can't be moved, and it's right at the front of the caravan....managed to use straps and pulley and got the caravan out of the driveway through the front lawn...and just got back...

I am unable to shift it out of park on my 300tdi auto disco. It was fine in the morning, but refused to shift out of park when I start her up just now. Anyone know what could be wrong?
I know that the footbrake has to be depressed before I could shift it out of park, so there appears...

got my 1996 300tdi auto disco december 2008 for 1500 quid.......and it a jap re-import with minimum or no rust at all. Was 113k on the clock then......
got 6 rangie 3 spoke alloys going real cheap......3 x blue, 3 x silver.....1 even have a 235/70/16 MT's that still have 7mm thread minimum.....
but trouble is...how to get them to you, as they will fill up the disco totally ?????
