yup...have got all the gaskets, seals CV's.....all ready to go in....just not have time....!!!! Besides, CV only making noise when on full lock, while off road...so, should still last for a while....!!

will check on the seals when I change the CV ....soon....!!

Just changed my axle oil. Measured oil came out: front - 3 litre, rear 2.5litre. Refilled through filler hole (mid way on diff pan) till it's about to spill. 2.5litre each. Question: would the extra oil caused trouble? eg. too much pressure build up? Breather has also been blown through and...

you can replace the current rear diff (3 bolt flange) with a 300tdi front diff (4 bolt flange) so that the 200tdi prop shaft can be fitted.

Basically what Classic Kev said...nightmare!!! I just did mine on a 97 300tdi with air-cond 2 months back. 1) MAKE SURE its the matrix that's leaking or you'll be spending hours (or days) of labour for nothing. 2) once confirmed matrix leaking, or even the pipes around the matrix is leaking...

Put me on reserve list. Could possibly make it on short notice (within a day or 2) if anyone drops out. 90boy has my contact no. I do wonder if this is the recce trip as stated for 3rd - 4th July. hahaha
