I'll try and run the EAS program tomorrow and see if it throws anything up, so the wires your talking about are the to the unit under the passenger seat as there is 3 units there,or the one behind the glove box. Just want to make sure I'm in the right place before I pull things apart for no reason.

Well been at it all day trying to figure out what is wrong with the compressor not working, tried 4 valve control units anc still nothing, changed relays like I was playing domino's,but still nothing. So having left it on a manual switch to pump the suspension up so I can use the car, All the...

Well looks like I'll be changing the air valve tomorrow and seeing if that will help,as to faults there is nothing coming up on my laptop. As to the earth point on the relay is it to the left or the right of terminal 30, just asking. Is there a way of checking the air valve, as like a circuit test.

Well the saga continues, so yet again no power to the compressor but all wires are ok as I have run circuit tester through every wire that runs from the fuse board towards the compressor and all are ok,we have shaken each wire while connected and they are still saying ok. I can get it to run by...

It had completely come out of the sheathing for the rest of the pipes but I had never noticed it before as just a exhaust pipe,I was looking at things like the cruise control bellows but then looked at the shape of the pipe and dismissed that. That is what stump me,well put it all back together...

    P38A Compressor

Well used the pipe repair kit and what a waste of time as the whole suspension dropped down to the stops, so when back to the pipes I made and now the car is staying up,but then noticed that even tho the compressor stopped running it was not for a long time so sprayed so soapy water around and...

    P38A Compressor

Well put in the new pipe work that came with the repair kit and it's rubbish, the whole car now drops down to the floor so there is only a inch between the arch and the tyre on all 4 corners. So going to take that off and put my made up pipe back on and leave it at that,as for taking the delay...

Well the car did drop over night by a few inches, but luckily enough my repair kit turned up today so took off the clear pipe and replaced it with the black RR type. So pumped back up to road height and repushed the pipes back in just to make sure, so now we'll see what happens to it.

Well the car has been up for over 8 hours and only dropped a little but I think that was with the self levelling as I locked it up, we'll see what it's like in the morning.

    P38A Compressor

Hi Guys, going to play with the air lines now my question is should the air line go through the retaining clip as pictue 1, or just stop at the end as picture 2. As I my have to sand some off to achieve No 1 for the air line to pass the inner ridge to make contact with the rubber seal.

They are an industrial type of pipe cutter as well as any plastic trim, it also cuts on an angle as I used to use it on window insterlations when I was on the tools (long time ago LOL).

    P38A Compressor

Yes but I had all air line blown up on my Schrader valves for 5 days and there was no drop in the ride heights, as I was waiting for a full set of seals from Rimmer Brother's,so I know it's not the main air bag lines. If the feeder pipe is leaking would that make only the back to drop, I would...

    P38A Compressor

If it's leaking from the feed tank line then why is it always the backend that drops, what's the exhaust go to do with the suspension apart from being to close so it would melt a pipe.

    P38A Compressor

Completely restored the whole of the valve block with all new seals and push in seats that the pipe goes into, also after pumping up the suspension sprayed water on the EAS block to check for any leaks and nothing, puzzled.

Well the pipe ends looked like this, picture 1, so cut and added the joints with new pipe and raised the suspension to full height, 2nd picture is of the joints, 3rd picture is the car after 1 hour gone down again. I know it not the old pipe works as I had them on the Schrader valves for 5 days...
