Well decided to give the car a good wash and polish and at the end went to clean the screen stood on the running board drivers side and it dropped and the passenger side is the same, so looked underneath and the box section has rusted away. So just ordered so 30mm box to replace the rotten lot...

no I used a seal pick set that I had and to hold the waterpump and the pully a very large set ot mole grips that went over the edges so they would not damage the groves,then a big socket bar to cracked the nut off.

Well after doing the seal, the car has a MOT ticket for another year with no advisories so looking to getting back on the road again. Thanks Guys.

nope that's just put in place before I drove it further in,as I had to cut down 1 of my drifters so I had the space between the rad as my drifter. Did not take the rad out but covered it with a piece of 18mm ply so I could not do any damage to it,so All back in place.:)

so is that clockwise or anticlockwise??.

so which way does the viscous fan nut move and the same for the crankcase pully are they anticlockwise because the engine rotates clockwise.

Would it be better to remove the radiator and the viscose fan to get better access to the crankcase seal, I know the crankcase pully has to come off,so just wondering

4.0 lt petrol 1998 v8 just wondering if it was possible to change it without taking half the engine out and where to get a seal from.

Hi Guys how easy or hard is it to change the front crankcase seal as my one is leaking or is there a way too add some sort of sealer to it to stop this,as this was put on my MOT advisories today. Is it worth trying to do it myself or put it in the garage.

The only 1 I could find is for the Pro, Bearmach said they never did one for the total but to use the Pro manual ??. I find that strange that they never made one at all.

Hi Guys, have not had a chance to look at the car but my question is if the valve block pressure switch is duff would that stop it all from working,as I'm looking to buy a second hand EAS unit to see if that clears the problem.

I have 2 compressors and both of them are not working via the main built in wires, as I have changed all including 3 No valve control units. But they still don't run the compressor, the compressor only works via the manual switch.

It's a fiscal switch to the pump ran from the battery to the compressor so I can inflate the suspension,as at the moment there is no power getting to the compressor but all wires and relays are ok I've even changed the EAS drive to see if it was that but still nothing. Was going to try to plug...
