Hi Guys, my diagnostic plug has just stopped working today but it was fine a couple of days ago, checked the 5 amp fuse and it's ok so has anybody got any ideas as to why. I may pop it out tomorrow and check the connections to see if any are damaged, it worked when I ran a EAS fault 4 days ago...

One quick question is how do you know if the Tri switch or the pressure switch in line are next to the cannister are duff, as Datatek told me to run the tri switch to ground and the fans worked.

Yes the small pipe was getting hot and the large pipe was cool but not cold, so I'll try a re-gas and see what happens if nothing then I'm stumped as even my Halkeye did not pick up anything to hand.

Hi Datatek, found the duel pressure switch connection and ran it to ground and both the fans started working,air cool but not cold and once plugged back fans stopped and still ran cool. The clutch did click in as well, so don't know what next but may try and do a re-gas and see what happens next.

The viscous fan got renewed last year as it became very stiff to move,have not had a chance to look at my car as I have been helping my son do and engine change and new clutch to his ST150. But hopefully get at it tomorrow.

The clutch is kicking in as normal and my AC pipes are getting hot,getting very little cold air out of the vents, so are you talking about the panel where the bonnet catch is, is the connections behind that one or passenger side.

I'll give that a try tomorrow and let you know what happens, plugged the Hawkeye in and it showed a few faults, both fans not working and a switch not working so cleared them but to no avail. So back to square one.

Where is that as it shows it on the list of components but not on my work shop manual diagram pages or there's a page missing that shows this switch.

Getting power to the fuses and relays used my relay checker to see if they were OK and also swapped relays around to see if I had a faulty one but all ok, so it must be no power to the fans. Took the relays out to see if I was getting power to them and yes, so still nothing cannot find the...

I can easily bridge the relays but will need to know what 1 as all it shows on the fuse box lid is 3 snowflake signs and 2 fans I know the bottom ones are my cab blower but what 1 for the air con fans is a guess. Looks like it will be easier to drill out the dome head screws to get my grill off...

The only problem with that is trying to get off the light guards as these are rusted into place with the hex screws as fitted by the original 1st buyer so to get them off will be a drill out job, or I could try and access them from underneath to see if they power up.

Yes I can turn them by hand.

So just found out that my air con fans are not working at all, any ideas as to what it could be,checked out all fuses and relays but still nothing, help I'm melting. LOL.

Well it turned up but the ariel connection is not the same mine as this is screw in and mine is a push fit, on top of that I have only 1 power lead but there is no window connection for it, that's why the red 1 is the one that's fitted.

Well I have just brought one of these to see if that makes a difference is this the type you are talking about.
