Did another hour tonight, bent up some braces that run accross the door. I didn't realise there was supposed to be 2 until I started cutting the end off the top one, the lower one was long gone. Seeing as I had the press set up, I thought I might as well do a couple of extra braces…...

Anyone ever repared worn hinges? I'm not forking out for a new set when I'm prety certain I can mahine out any wear and repin my existing ones.

I found a length of 9.5mm I/D stainless tube and used that.

Theres a bar that runs accross about 3/4 up the door thats rotted off at one end which I need to fab up and a couple of cracks by where the lock knob goes, probably from years of slamming the door. I'll add a stregnthener there

Belt was changed 20k miles ago, just checked valve clearances last week. Haven't checked timing yet but will try a different set of injectors first. Seems wierd that it started after a service though
