Bit more work on the drawer/slider unit. Started to trim the drawer out. Just the front to do. Quite happy with it for a first attempt at carpeting something.

All sorted. Just need to get out with it now and give it a go.

Next addition should be getting fitted on Saturday. Getting a Rhino Rack Batwing 270 awning. Can’t wait to see how I can set it up with my Oztent RV4.

Waeco are a top recognised make and a lot of people rave about them. Roof box no good for me as I’ve got a full floor on my roof rack so can’t fit a box, have a roof bag that works well though. Powerful UK are well know and their kit is usually good quality, not had anything from them myself but...

It’s a fabulous part of the world Scotland. When we drove from the East coast to the West coast we had 2 hours of single track road and probably saw 3 other cars until we hit the towns and villages. Loved it.

If your fitting the cross bars, basically the roof rack then with the extended rails you could in theory fit extra cross bars. This would allow you to to have more fixing points for the awning reducing any flex/sag at the front of the awning. Hope that makes sense.

It would have to come out a very long way as it’s the upper tailgate that restricts the lid opening fully. Will probably make a base for the fridge slide so I can have the drawer and slide side by side. Shame really as it works great. It’s not fully extended in the photo as I hadn’t secured it...

Haha no all was good but I was watching the tide when we where on the beach though. Photos don’t really do it justice as it was very wild and dramatic.

Got one switch wired. Happy with the look so far.

Currently in Cornwall. Went for a drive with a mate yesterday. Be rude not to take a photo or two.

347 miles over two days and 29.4mpg. Happy enough with that considering it was fully loaded.
