    Dehumidifiers

Thanks Boguing for the info, Yes Meaco do seems to be well regarded and get good reviews at the dealers. A desiccant version works well at the lower garage temperatures we experience in this country and it also puts out an element of warm air raising the garage temperature a bit so I am told...

    Dehumidifiers

I am considering fitting an automatic dehumidifier to my 63 square meter garage/workshop and wondered if any one out there had any experience or recommendations. The building is a new build with double glazed windows, three Horman insulated roller shutter doors and a Horman insulated side door...

    Car Wash Brushes

Excellent. The Professional Blue Brush is WS.PROWBMED. Looks like you can get it much cheaper on Amazon too Martin Cox does an even stronger one: The Professional Green Brush" is WS.PROWBLG, available through Amazon at the same price. May be a no brainer?

    Car Wash Brushes

That's excellent info DD69, I had in fact found that advert, Googling "Professional Wash Brush" and read all the 63 customer reviews. Had it stored in my favourites. Can I ask you how the brush affixes to the pole, is it for instance a brass fitting and how the hose pushes fits to the pole too...

    Car Wash Brushes

I have used car wash brushes on a 4 foot aluminium pole to clean all my cars, they seem the best solution for the demands my filthy LR and other family motors make on me. However of late I have found it very hard to find a poled car wash brush that lasts more than a couple of washes. Usually...

Mmmmm interesting. The TR8 was never sold in Europe. A few in the UK, but none in mainland Europe and certainly not France. Therefore an imported LHD TR8 from the US may well be deemed the correct "type" for France (certainly it is not modified) and as such be relatively straight forward to...

The original TR8 was more or less only sold in the USA in soft top guise, as only 63 hard top and 18 convertibles out of the total of 2509 TR8s were ever released into the UK. Regarding your comments on the Dolomite 4 cylinder engine, then here are many TR7V8 conversions around which are...

Buy a LHD US rag top from California. There are loads over there, they'll be rust free and as a bonus it'll have fuel injection on the 4 cylinder engine too. The best is the Spyder, a limited edition soft top in black with pewter interior. Rare and an appreciating classic too

Hi Meego, Sort of. It's a 4 litre 2+2 Grinnall. Based on a TR7 of 1979 vintage this Porsche beater was built in 1992 by Mark Grinnall of three wheel trike fame and is basically a Rover SD1 underneath, 5" wider track, luxury interior and full metal integrated body kit. He did 350 conversions of...

Well, after all your assistance I eventually made a decision and went for the Halfords Advanced Tool Chest and cabinet bundle in at £476 in their Black Friday deal. Whilst the quality of the Costco Kirkland was without question, the difficulty in seeing/obtaining one and extra width of the units...

    D2 rear wiper

I had exactly the same thing and did everything I could think of to try and get my aftermarket arm and blade to wipe the rear screen properly. In the end I called the (well known) supplier and complained. Without admitting liability they more or less admitted that the after market non original...
