D2 rear wiper

Hi all. My rear wiper on my 02 D2 works electrically but barely touches the rear glass. I’ve put a new blade on without luck and have even replaced the entire wiper arm and the results are still the same. There’s a sweep area of approx 4” wide.
Anybody have a fix?

I had exactly the same thing and did everything I could think of to try and get my aftermarket arm and blade to wipe the rear screen properly. In the end I called the (well known) supplier and complained. Without admitting liability they more or less admitted that the after market non original items are prone to this problem and it would be solved when I fitted a OEM LR item. I bit the bullet, paid the money and fitted the OEM LR item at about double the price of the previous non worker.
All fixed, works fine, wipes all the rear screen.
My guess is that the design of the arm and wiper attached plus the position and angle of the drive motor is very dependant upon each other to get a correct wipe action. I compared the two arms and blades and admittedly could not see a major difference.
This was a case where OEM LR parts were necessary to make the system work correctly.

I had the same issue with aftermarket. Fit genuine (Valeo) and it will be fine.

Had the same problem on another make of car despite the replacement bits looking the same. Back to genuine for it to work properly.
