Not mine - but, my mate's - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142891657507 He's had it for the past 12 years, and done lots of mods. to it. It's a well sorted vehicle that's ready to off-road. Here's his description - Please don’t think that this is just another rusty old Range Rover that’s...

Disco 2 Power feed for dashcam

Hi Paul, The S13 socket will cope with the electrical load of your 2-way radio - but, I wouldn't like to speculate on electrical interferance. Socket S13 is fed from the Ignition Switch on a 3.0mm² cable, through C0028-4, via F30 (20Amp). (F30 also supplies the cruise control switch, and the...

Disco 2 Should the electric window child lock switch and wing mirror/light level switches illuminate?

Do you have a part number on your replacement control? Although they all look the same externally (apart from the early ones having Ash Grey housings, and the later ones, Black housings), the connections (and part numbers) are slightly different for the levelling control fitted to D1, D2...

Other 12s seeking pin crimp tool plse

2.8mm is the size of the terminal's blade, not a spec. The terminals to fit these connectors are a specific type, made by the connector manufacturer - Yazaki in Japan. You won't get them from VWP or Maplins.

Disco 2 Power feed for dashcam

F30 (20A) supplies the cruise control switch, and the door mirror adjustment control. So, I would think that S13 would be able to handle a 10A load. Where do you plan to install the inverter? As there may be more suitable feeds.

Disco 2 Power feed for dashcam

As Fery has said, you can pickup the ignition-switched live from the interior fuse box accessory socket S13, using a female spade terminal. However, there is a proper connector for this, which I can supply - Connector to fit the single terminal socket S13 Socket S13 is fed from the Ignition...

Sadly, they're not :( They're Yazaki YES/YESC Kaizen unsealed male 2.8mm connectors. The male terminals, are like this - The 2.8 'mini connection' you refer to, is called all sorts of things - Mini Lock connectors, Hitachi connectors, 110 connectors, 2.8 connectors, Motorcycle...
