i sell/fit tyres, you wouldnt believe what ive seen :eek:. part worns are ok if sourced correctly. mine are only grade A premuim brand tyres from germany but if money is tight i would always recomend a new budget tyre over a part worn, imo NO one knows the past history of a second hand tyre.

+1 well said tbh anyone with a good reputation in buisness will bend over backwards for his/her customers even if it involves loss financially,in buisness the customer is always right ... ( but not always).... imo you just swallow it as keeping your rep is a must, 1 happy customer will recomend...

yes tony thats what i & you are trying to explain but imo id run a 20 "tyre pressure @ standard pressure for a !8" wheel to eliminate firstly,ps happy new year to you. oh & has alan been about recenly ?

nothing to do with size of wheels/tyres as they are the same rolling radius, fitting smaller wheels with higher profile tyres allows sidewall flex which masks the proplem with defective suspension/steering components.

took me a full day on my 4 poster @ 150psi to shot blast then glass blast the underside of my d2
